At the Elgin Area Chamber we think “regionally” in setting our priorities including promoting effective transportation, education, entrepreneurship and a pro-business environment. We are focused on quality growth that centers on the creation of dynamic workforce and attracting businesses, which promote a higher standard of living in our area. We recently raised over $1 million to accomplish this through the Elgin Area Chamber's Challenge 21 program, which involves investments by business and local governments to meet these goals on a measurable basis. We sponsor many events throughout the year that focus on business and governmental issues. We focus on the success of entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies and, especially, the financial success of our many small businesses in the valley. While our area has consistently been highly ranked as a great place to live and to do business, we are not resting on our laurels. We are working hard to enhance our business and quality of life environments for future generations. I encourage you to be a member of our organization. This is one of the very best chambers of commerce anywhere and I cannot imagine being in business in our region and not being a member of the Elgin Area Chamber. Whether you participate in the many activities of the Chamber or not, this is the only organization in our community that is an advocate for all business and it is vital that you be a part of the group that advocates for our region's quality of life and economic future.

The Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce is the regional advocate for business in Illinois' Fox Valley. It serves over 700 company and individual members and acts as a catalyst between the private and public sectors in promoting economic prosperity.
