Our next Legislative Brew, sponsored by AT&T, features Elgin Township Supervisor Franklin Ramirez on Friday, February 16 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Chamber office, 31 S. Grove. You will have a chance to catch up over coffee with Franklin, ask your questions and mix and mingle with other Chamber members all in an informal setting. Seating is limited so reservations are recommended.
Franklin Ramirez was elected Elgin Township Supervisor in 2017. Statutorily defined as the chief executive officer of the township, an Illinois township supervisor is positioned to fulfill a key leadership role on the township team as the manager of financial affairs in the township, coordinator of the township programs, and administrator of day-to-day activities in the office.
Franklin earned a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from Judson University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Loyola University.
The Elgin Area Chamber connects our members with the information, opportunities, and people from across the political spectrum that makes a difference to your business with "Legislative Brew." Sometimes we'll meet for coffee, other times we just might meet for a "brew." In any case, EAC will bring together a mix of individuals engaged in government and the policy discussions facing our community, region, and state in for a cup and conversation.
