Tuition cost is $525 per person; $475 if your application is submitted by June 30. Full payment is expected by September 26. There may be a partial scholarship available for those who show a need. Please submit your request and reasons you are applying for a scholarship.

Attach at least one letter of support from someone who can provide knowledge of your qualifications or civic leadership. In addition, please add a paragraph sharing what you expect to gain from your experience as a member of the Class of 2021-22.

I understand the purpose of the ELGIN AREA LEADERSHIP ACADEMY program and, if I am selected, I will devote the time and resources necessary to fully participate in the program. I know the program includes sessions on each of the following dates: October 2, October 16, October 30, November 20, December 11, January 8, 2022 , January 29, February 26, March 16 and 19, April 9, April 30, and May 7. Sessions will be held at various locations in Elgin. Even though emergencies do arise, full participation is expected for all sessions, projects, and interim activities. *
