Crisis Line Volunteers Needed!! ***Training Starts March 19th*** Internships Also Available!
AID’s Crisis Line provides assistance to persons with a wide variety of needs and concerns:
§ Substance Abuse
Callers are linked to appropriate referrals in their community. Interns must be able to be available for extensive training. Applications are accepted all year for two training programs, one in March and one in September. Applicant will volunteer through training and may convert to an internship once placement on the Crisis Line is secured.
AID Operates the Crisis Line of Fox Valley in Aurora, Illinois, where this position is located.

For internship consideration in AID's Behavioral Health Crisis Line area, you must be willing to commit to a minimum of one year; internship and volunteering combined.
The next crisis line training class is set to begin in March 19th 2020, and will run for 10 consecutive Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
