    About Us

Passionately dedicated to training the next generation of beauty professionals, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture has reimagined what a great education should be. At our Elgin location, we prepare students for careers in the fields of Cosmetology and Esthetics. Having been founded by industry legend and salon chain owner Mario Tricoci, producing “industry-ready” graduates is at the forefront of Tricoci University’s mission and is part of its DNA.

To achieve this, Tricoci University offers industry current educational materials, equipment and facilities to cultivate an engaging learning experience. The student kits are some of the most robust and expansive in the industry and include a personal iPad® for interactive learning on PRO (our exclusive online social learning environment). Program lessons have been designed specifically for today’s digitally-engaged learner; combining important educational content with social elements and gamification. Learning is further supported through the use of videos, demonstrations, guest artists, visual/practical presentations, lecture and plenty of hands-on experience in the student clinics.

Our student clinics are open for the public to experience high quality services at neighborly prices. All services are performed by students under the supervision of a licensed instructor.

Tricoci University of Beauty Culture is accredited by NACCAS. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
