Announcing a New DNA office location
|City of Elgin, 8-5-18 - The Downtown Neighborhood Association of Elgin (DNA) has moved to a new office space located at 31 S. Grove Avenue, Suite 100, in downtown Elgin on August 1, 2018. The new office space, located in the former Woolworth department store building, a building owned by the City of Elgin, also houses offices for the Elgin Area Chamber (EAC) and the Elgin Symphony Orchestra.
The DNA will leverage its new office space to continue its work in economic development, community building and collaboration, perception and promotion, and beautification and physical enhancements for downtown Elgin. The building’s northern most entrance is now the entrance to the DNA offices.
Having offices adjacent to the EAC/EDG provides greater efficiencies and collaboration when moving forward economic development projects. The new location is also conveniently located adjacent to the DNA’s Farmers Market location. The new offices are also ground-level, providing the needed accessibility for all clients as well as greater visibility in the downtown.
“We’re excited at the opportunity relocate our office to a new space on Grove Avenue,” said Jennifer Fukala, Executive Director for the Downtown Neighborhood Association of Elgin. “This move represents our commitment to collaboration with fellow organizations and downtown stakeholders, working together towards creating a thriving downtown. ”
