    Elgin Hay Day returns August 25 to new location at Meier Park
     
    Elgin, IL - All are invited to attend the City of Elgin's second annual Elgin Hay Day on Saturday, August 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Meier Park, located at 3770 Gansett Parkway. 

    The fall-themed event on Elgin's west side will feature hayrides, a petting zoo,  potato sack races, a hay maze, and other fun kids activities. Guests will also enjoy local food vendors and live entertainment. A complete schedule of the day's entertainment will be posted to the Elgin Hay Day Facebook event page prior to the event.

    Nearby residents are encouraged to walk or bike to the event. A limited amount of parking will be available around the perimeter of the park. Parking will be also be available at the Prairie Knolls Middle School parking lot, located at 225 Nesler Road, where shuttle service to and from the event site will be provided. Handicapped accessible parking will be available at the event site.
