• The Elgin Area Chamber's Enhancing Elgin Committee (EDG) is excited to be restarting the valuable Elgin Image Awards after a hiatus of several years.  These awards recognize individuals, businesses and organizations that have had a positive impact on Elgin by promoting the positives of why Elgin, IL is a great place to live, work, learn, do business, get involved, visit and enjoy!
     
    We encourage people to nominate a person or an organization, if you know of a project from 2020 - 2022.

    The Award Categories are -
     
    Professional Rockstar: individual nominee has made a significant contribution to the improvement of Elgin’s image as a professional.  May include lifetime achievements or emerging leaders.
     
    Volunteer Extraordinaire: individual nominee has made a significant contribution to the improvement of Elgin’s image as a volunteer. May include lifetime achievements or emerging leaders.
     
    Gamechanger Projects: specific community project that has helped improve Elgin’s image.
     
    Creating a Difference Groups: Organization or business that has helped significantly improve Elgin’s image.
     
    Green Initiative/Sustainable Business of the Year
     
    Excellence in DEI or Building Equity
     
    Youth Service Project (for people 21 and under)

    A recognition ceremony highlighting those receiving the award will be held in November.
