    Power Sector Opportunities in South Africa – Part II: Gas and Municipal Power Opportunities
    Power Africa, including the U.S. Commercial Service and the U.S. Embassy in South Africa, are hosting a webinar series for U.S. companies to showcase a variety of ender and procurement opportunities in the South African power sector. The webinar discussions also include an overview of the U.S. Government tools and resources available to U.S. companies during the project development stage.
     
    This February 16th webinar will focus on South Africa’s plans to procure 3,000+ MW of gas for power generation, as well as the country’s new amendment that allows municipalities to develop their own power generation projects.

    Virtual Security Mission for Economic Prosperity in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras

    Caribbean Region Trade Mission - May 2021
    The U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, in partnership with the U.S. Department of State, is organizing a trade mission to the Caribbean region that will include the Trade Americas – Business Opportunities in the Caribbean Region Conference in Bridgetown, Barbados on May 23-28, 2021.
     
    The goal of the mission is to help participating U.S. companies find potential partners, buyers, agents, distributors, and joint venture partners in Barbados/Eastern Caribbean, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Suriname, The Bahamas, and Trinidad and Tobago, laying the foundation for successful long-term ventures to take advantage of market opportunities in the Caribbean region.
