What is a swag item sponsorship?

A swag item sponsorship allows your business to place its logo and message on a promotional item that will be distributed to golfers during the ChamberFest Golf Outing.

Who receives the items?

Swag items are included in golfer gift bags and distributed to participants at the Elgin Area Chamber's annual ChamberFest Golf Outing.

How many golfers participate?

The outing typically attracts more than 120 golfers and has been a sold-out event year after year.

Why should I sponsor a swag item?

Swag sponsorship provides a fun and memorable way to increase your visibility, strengthen your brand, and connect with business leaders and community members.

Do I need to be an Elgin Area Chamber member to sponsor an item?

Yes. Swag sponsorship opportunities are available exclusively to Elgin Area Chamber members.

How are sponsorship opportunities assigned?

Items are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once an item has been reserved, it is no longer available.

Can more than one company sponsor the same item?

No. Each promotional item is available to only one sponsor, ensuring your business receives exclusive branding on that item. Sponsorships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage members to reserve early.

Can I provide a promotional item that is not listed in the Swag Sponsor Store?

Maybe. We are open to considering additional sponsorship items that are not currently listed in the store. To ensure they are a good fit for the event, all proposed items must be golf-related and approved by the Chamber.

Will my company logo appear on the item?

Yes. Your logo will be professionally printed or imprinted on the item, subject to production requirements and space limitations.

Vector artwork (.AI, .EPS, or high-resolution PDF) is preferred. Additional artwork specifications will be provided after purchase.

When do I need to submit my logo?

Logo submission deadlines vary by item. Prompt submission helps ensure production schedules are met.

How do I reserve an item?

Visit the Swag Sponsor Store, select your item, and complete the purchase online.

Can I sponsor more than one item?

Absolutely! Many businesses choose multiple items to maximize their exposure.

What if an item I want has already been claimed?

New opportunities may become available, and there are usually several items at a variety of price points to choose from.
