Candidate Background Checks: Illinois Updates

Brenna McLean and Danny Simandl, attorneys at Epstein Becker Green, will discuss the latest updates on candidate background checks. Specifically, they will address the 2021 Illinois Human Rights Act amendment that imposes new restrictions and obligations on employers’ use of background checks in Illinois, salary bans in the background check process, and other procedural issues to be mindful of in the background check process.
