    OrthoIllinois Welcomes Neal Shah, M.D. to Medical Team

    ROCKFORD, Ill. (Aug. 15, 2022)OrthoIllinois, a leading bone and joint health care provider in northern Illinois, continues to expand its medical team, welcoming Interventional Pain Management physician Neal Shah, M.D. to the organization’s Elgin location this month.
    In his practice at OrthoIllinois, Dr. Shah treats patients with chronic pain conditions. He has a special interest in regional anesthetic options and advanced therapies like radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, and infusion therapies such as ketamine and propofol. He is passionate about utilizing a multimodal approach to building comprehensive treatment plans tailored for each individual.
    Dr. Shah knew he wanted to be a doctor at a young age after experiencing an arm injury and seeing his grandmother’s battle with diabetes. He was influenced by the amazing physicians who provided him and his family member with incredible compassion and care.
    Dr. Shah earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and was chief resident during his anesthesiology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Shah received his fellowship training in interventional pain management in his hometown of Chicago at Rush University Medical Center.
